The modern architecture developed in Recife between the decades of1940s and 1970s has great expressiveness, but still littlerecognized by the general population. With the advancement of technology and thedissemination of applications on mobile devices, the ROTAS projectMODERNISTAS aims to expand knowledge about this architectureproduced in Recife through the creation of a mobile application (IOS andAndroid) based on the geolocation of these works and thus,allowing the creation of routes that congregate these buildings (residential,institutional and others) in representative groups such as typologies, authors of thedesign and year of construction. In addition, the project also seeks to raise awarenesspreservation agency about the relevance of this architecture and, in this way,expand the list of heritage properties.
